"Landscape of Pain"
You’re kiss still lingers on my lips.
You’re soft touch of hope still floats across my skin.
You’re eyes still engraved in my mind.
I gave you my heart but you just keep it so far.
My voice portrayed so much but you just went away.
You only found flaws in your beautiful painting,
Only found the horrid things.
I see such gorgeous images in you’re soul,
So much I just want to hold.
I gave you a gift no one has ever been given,
But it just got lost in the end.
Just left in the expantionless landscape of pain
Trying to see what I did to make you fall away.
Can’t understand because I hear what you say.
Just want to go back to those meaningful days.
