Thoughts
"Field of Dreams"
I lay in this field of fluttering dreams, watching these possible lives with my eyes.
Why won’t you come to me, my beautiful butterfly? Am I believing a lie?
Is this place we made not enough for you to stay?
I pick and prod this apart try to make it good enough for a new start.
Will the rain of sorrow and wasted love finally come?
Will the bright days finally come and be gone bringing a pitch black dawn?
Has these dreams overwhelmed you to a point of no return?
Has the story of the loin and boy shown itself like you warned?
I want to lay here for the rest of time
It will slowly darken and I'll be filled with fright
As these dreams slowly weave into nightmares and endless fears.
Have to let go and run from that field
To never return if I want to truly be healed.

Do you think beforehand about what you put down, or do you think it's some kind of 'profound improvisation'? read what you write, it's enlightening on how ^incongrouous^ you are.
